Tantalize your tastebuds with Grilled Apple Slaw! Featuring crispy Granny Smith apples and crunchy green cabbage, toasted hazelnuts, sweet honey and tangy mustard - all cooked to perfection over the grill - this slaw is sure to make mouths water!
Ingredients
- 1 head green cabbage, quartered
- 2 granny smith apples, halved
American Stockyard Washington Apple BBQ Rub
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts, toasted
1/2 cup House of Q Slow Smoke Gold
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp wildflower honey
Directions
- Preheat your cooker to 500ºF, set up for direct grilling. Toss the cabbage and apples in a small amount of oil. Season with American Stockyard Washington Apple BBQ Rub. Grill the cabbage, apples and green onions until lightly charred.
- Slice the cabbage thin. Dice the apples. Slice the green onions. Combine all ingredients. Toss to incorporate.
