All Things Barbecue invites you to join us in our test kitchen for an immersive experience in mastering grilling and smoking techniques. Led by our inhouse expert, Chef Tom, these hands-on education events are designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to become a true grill master.

Whether you’re new to grilling or looking to refine your BBQ skills, Chef Tom will guide you through the techniques, tools, and insider tips that will take your grilling and smoking game to the next level. From temperature control and mastering different types of wood and charcoal to perfecting the art of smoking meats and vegetables, each class offers a blend of instruction and hands-on practice.

Dinner on the Grill
April 10th or 11th - 6pm to 9pm

Join us for an unforgettable evening where Chef Tom prepares for you a three-course meal featuring bold flavors and BBQ techniques.

He’ll start with a rich and savory appetizer of seared steak bites paired with tangy crème fraîche, crispy potato croutons, and a drizzle of balsamic for a perfect balance of textures.

For the main course, you’ll learn to prepare tender pork belly served with creamy blue corn cheese grits, topped with crispy fried onions, house-made pickles, and a fresh arugula salad to brighten the dish.

To end on a sweet and smoky note, we’ll guide you through making indulgent smoked fudge, complemented by luscious salted caramel and airy bourbon whipped cream. Whether you're a seasoned grill master or just starting out, this experience will leave you with new skills and a delicious meal to savor.

Saturday Grilling Event

Bourbon & BBQ Class: A Perfect Pairing Experience

Get ready for a bold and flavorful event as we explore the art of pairing bourbon with smoky, savory barbecue favorites. This experience features three dishes prepared by Chef Tom, each matched with a bourbon that enhances its rich, charred, and spiced flavors.

He’ll start with BBQ Chicken Wings, smoked to perfection and glazed with a tangy, finger-licking sauce, complemented by a smooth, slightly sweet bourbon that balances the heat.

Next, enjoy a perfectly grilled Ribeye Steak, known for its deep marbling and juicy texture, paired with a high-proof bourbon that amplifies the steak’s charred crust and buttery richness.

Finally, we’ll savor Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, bursting with smoky, cheesy heat, matched with a bold, peppery bourbon that accentuates its spice and depth.

This guided experience is perfect for bourbon lovers and BBQ enthusiasts alike, offering a delicious journey through the best of smoke, spice, and spirits.

Please enter the building through the front door at 818 or the courtyard door into 818. Check in with our staff, and you will be directed to the kitchen.
