Recipe Highlights and Insights:
Apple cider is a classic, refreshing beverage made from pressed apples, often enjoyed during the fall season when apples are at their peak. It can be served in two primary forms: unfiltered and non-alcoholic as a fresh juice, or fermented to create hard cider, which contains alcohol. The non-alcoholic version is typically cloudy and full of rich apple flavor, with natural sweetness and tartness from the apples themselves. It can be served chilled or warmed, often spiced with ingredients like cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg for an extra cozy touch. Apple cider is deeply associated with autumn traditions like apple picking, hayrides, and holiday gatherings, making it a nostalgic favorite for many.
