A balsamic reduction is a simple yet transformative ingredient made by simmering balsamic vinegar in a pan until it thickens and some of the liquid evaporates. The process of reducing the vinegar intensifies its flavor, turning it into a rich, syrupy glaze that can enhance a wide variety of dishes. The result is a sweet, concentrated version of balsamic vinegar that’s perfect for drizzling over everything from salads to roasted vegetables, meats, or even desserts. It’s a quick, easy way to add depth and elegance to your meals—and Chef Tom is going to show you how to make it!

Balsamic Reduction
Start with 1 cup Texas Olive Ranch Balsamic Vinegar. Place the balsamic in a lodge 10" steel skillet. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Reduce the heat to medium low and reduce by half, about 15 minutes.

Enjoy it by drizzling over everything from fresh salads to roasted vegetables, meats, or even desserts.
