Replacement thermocouple for Yoder Smokers YS480 and YS640 pellet grills built before 1/27/15. This longer thermocouple also fits YS1500 pellet grills that have that do NOT have the ACS wi-fi enabled controller.
This product does NOT work with Yoder Smokers pellet grills with ACS (wi-fi enabled) controllers. You need the Short Thermocouple for that system.

I have had my YS640 since 2013 and have only 2 malfunctions. Both with thermal cable problems likely caused by taking cooking grill in and out pushing on the cable. I'm so happy with the smoker over all from smoking to open flame grilling.

I have a 2015 Yoder 640 and have replaced the thermocoupler a few times over the years. it is the only thing i have ever had to replace. I have learned to Always Keep an Extra One on Hand, because when it fails, it will more than likely happen when you are doing a big family cook on a holiday.

This is so easy to replace…price is good, too. We use our yoder quite often from turkeys to pizza to steaks… there’s nothing you can’t cook on it. Occasionally something wears out or breaks.. it happens.. just glad that there’s always the part you need available and fast delivery. 👍🏻🫠
